Airtel started Airtel 5G Network Trial at this place; Internet speed is faster than lightning

Airtel has started testing its Airtel 5G network in the Cyber Hub area of Gurgaon. For your information, let us tell you that the telco is working in the middle band spectrum of 3500 MHz. Airtel is conducting the tests in compliance with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) guidelines. According to reports, Bharti Airtel’s 5G network is capable of delivering speeds of more than 1Gbps. The Department of Telecommunications has allotted spectrum to Airtel in four Indian telecom circles including Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi.

It is worth noting that according to a report by ET Telecom, peak speeds of more than 1Gbps have been seen in the trial. The report said that Airtel has been allotted 5G trial spectrum in 3500 MHz, 28 GHz and 700 MHz. Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have been allotted spectrum in the 700 MHz, 3.5 GHz and 26 GHz bands. Let us tell you that the companies who have applied for this include Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea and MTNL etc.

Let us tell you here that Airtel is working with Ericsson 5G network gear for its 5G testing. Last month, the DoT allowed Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) to test the use and applications of 5G technology in India. TSP has tied up with original equipment manufacturers and technology providers which are Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and C-DOT. Apart from this, Reliance Jio will be testing using its indigenous technology, which means that Jio is working on bringing 5G in the country alone, it has not taken anyone’s side. Let us also tell you here that at present there is a time period of 6 months for testing, which includes the time period of 2 months for the purchase of equipment and 5G installation.

Earlier this year i.e. in January, Airtel also became the first player to successfully demonstrate 5G service on a commercial network in the 1800 MHz band in Hyderabad city through NSA NSA (Non-Stand Alone) network technology. Is known. Initially this feat was done by Airtel itself.

Airtel also said a while back that 5G will be able to provide 10x speed, 10x latency and 100x concurrency compared to existing technologies. It was noted that in Hyderabad, users were able to download an entire movie on a 5G phone in a matter of seconds, thanks to a 5G phone demonstration that outlined the company’s technology capabilities. However, the full impact of the 5G experience will accrue to Airtel customers once sufficient spectrum is available and government approval is obtained. Users will not need to switch SIM cards if the network is available to them.
