In such a situation, e-mail users should be careful. Ransomware can break into users’ bank accounts through viruses. CERT-In has issued a notification regarding the virus on 21st December.
how does it work
According to CERT-In, the new Ransomware virus has been designed for Windows computer users. This virus has reached the computer system through email. After this, the virus gives control of the PC to the hackers. Then the hackers remotely lock the PC. After this, money is demanded from the hackers’ side. This demand can also be done in bitcoins. In case of non-payment of money by the users, the necessary files are deleted. Simultaneously the computer is disabled. If your computer’s data has been locked and the screen wallpaper has been replaced with a ransom note, your data is no longer safe.
