Reliance Jio has surpassed other telecom companies in April in terms of 4G download speed. In April 2021, Reliance Jio topped the 4G speed chart with a data download rate of 20.1 megabytes per second (Mbps). At the same time, Vodafone topped the upload speed in April with 6.7Mbps. Jio’s download speed was almost 3 times higher
In April, Reliance Jio’s download speed was almost 3 times higher than its nearest rival Vodafone. However, Vodafone and Idea Cellular merged (merged) their mobile business with Vodafone Idea Limited. However, the sector regulator TRAI still releases different network speed data of both companies. According to TRAI’s data, Vodafone’s download speed was 7 Mbps in April. At the same time, the download speeds of Idea and Airtel were 5.8 and 5 Mbps respectively.
Vodafone on top in terms of upload speed
Vodafone has been at the top in terms of upload speed. Vodafone’s speed in April was 6.7 Mbps. At the same time, Idea’s upload speed was 6.1 Mbps.
