Reliance Jio said on Friday that it will make a new offer for new and existing JioPhone customers from March 1. What’s on offer for new customers
Let us tell you that for new customers, you can tell that for these, with JioPhone device, you are getting unlimited service for 24 months i.e. 2 years. However, this plan is going to get you for Rs 1,999. Along with this, you are getting unlimited voice calling to JioPhone customers under this offer, as well as you are also getting unlimited data, let you know that you are going to get 2GB high-speed data here every month.
What do you get in JioPhone
The JioPhone, unlike the majority of other feature phones, works on 4G and can access the Internet. You can download and install applications on JioPhone, something you cannot do on an average feature phone. This is because unlike most feature phones, the JioPhone runs on KaiOS software that is a custom forelock of Firefox OS – an open-source operating system based on Linux, the same technology that works on Android. The Google app and services are available on JioPhone, so WhatsApp and Facebook work on it.
JioPhone was launched in 2017. Jio then came up with the JioPhone 2 with an upgraded design with a QWERTY keyboard. JioPhone 2 also introduced dual-sim support. The JioPhone 2021 offer, as the name suggests, applies to the first generation JioPhone. Jio is also working with Google on low-cost smartphones running a localized version of Android software.
