Reliance Jio is known for its cheap prepaid plan. The company is offering a lot of plans with short validity as well as long validity. The price of Jio’s long term plan starts at Rs 1299 and goes up to Rs 2599. A similar plan is Rs 2121, in which 1.5 GB of data is available daily. If you go slightly above Rs 2121, then a plan of Rs 2,399 is available, in which 2 GB data is available daily. So if you want a year-long plan, which one will you choose? Let’s compare the two plans and know the answer.
Reliance Jio plan of Rs 2,121
This long term plan offers a little less validity than a year. The validity of this plan with 1.5 GB data per day is 336 days. Users get a total of 504GB of data. The plan offers unlimited calling and 100 SMS daily on all networks. Disney + Hotstar membership is not offered in this. However, subscription of Jio apps is definitely available.
Reliance Jio plan for Rs 2,399
This is a full year-long plan, which offers 365 days of validity. It gets 2 GB of data daily, thus users can use a total of 730GB of data. In this too, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are given daily on all the networks. Apart from this, Jio TV, JioCinema and JioNews get subscription of Jio apps.
Which plan has more benefit
The plan of Rs 2121 may look cheaper than you, but keep in mind that it comes with a validity of 336 days. That is, to complete one year, you will have to do another 28-day recharge. If you make a recharge of Rs 199 (1.5GB daily for 28 days) then the total expenditure will be Rs 2320, which is around Rs 2,399 only. Also, for Rs 2,399, you are also getting 2 GB of data daily. In such a situation, more benefit is seen in the plan of Rs 2,399.
