In which it has been said that telecom companies should ensure that their channels, distributors and retailers do not offer special tariffs to customers, due to which customers are getting mobile number portability (MNP) on other networks.

TRAI reminded telecom operators that offering special tariff for mobile number portability is a “violation” of the Telecom Tariff Offer and other rules issued by TRAI in this context from time to time. Huh. The purpose of these rules is to eliminate discrimination in tariffs.
